MD & Medical Director
Dr. Robert Decker
Dr. Decker is our resident physician and fearless leader, setting the bar for our clinic’s medical standards and inspiring us to help clients of all ages realize their most natural results and healthiest skin. He performs all cosmetic injections at Renu and integrates only the most advanced, proven technologies in the practice.
A family physician since 1978, Dr. Decker studied at the University of Manitoba, earning his degree in Medicine with a specialty in Family Practice. For the past 13 years, he’s trained extensively with physicians at the forefront of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic laser medicine to hone his expertise.

Kyla Decker
Our Clinical Director and resident country music maven, Kyla is Dr. Decker’s daughter and right hand at Renu. She runs all aspects of the business with dedicated staff who feel like an extension of the family. The most rewarding part? Working with her dad and helping people feel their best about themselves everyday.

Roslyn Peleshaty
With over 14 years at Renu Laser, Roslyn has built lasting relationships with clients through her warm, knowledgeable, and supportive approach. As Director of Client Services, she’s passionate about making every visit feel welcoming, informative, and empowering—whether she’s helping book appointments, offering treatment guidance, or recommending skincare solutions tailored to each individual. She takes great pride in recognizing most clients by name and creating a space that feels truly personal. When Ros is off the clock, she is always up for an adventure. She splits her time between hiking trails, planning her next holiday and enjoying cuddles with her adorable new grandson. A beach chair, an umbrella and a great book is her perfect escape!

Caitlin Booth
For nearly three years, Caitlin has been helping clients glow from the inside out at Renu—one treatment at a time. A self-proclaimed instant gratification kind of gal, she’s obsessed with the magic of lights and lasers—BBL and ClearSilk are her ride-or-die treatments. Still, she understands that skin is a journey, not a sprint, and she encourages clients to trust the process and stay consistent, backed by her go-to ZO skincare routine.
Born and raised in Port Alberni, Caitlin loves the charm of small-town life and the sense of community it brings. When she’s not with clients, you’ll find her at a Pilates class, halfway up a climbing wall, or spending time with family and friends—ideally somewhere with snacks and lots of laughs.

With over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, she’s passionate about the connection between aesthetics, self-care, and personal confidence. When she’s not working her magic, Charlotte enjoys time with her children, coffee walks with friends, and diving into the latest trends in beauty and wellness.

Jaylynn Bertrand
With over five years of hands-on experience as a laser technician, Jaylynn brings a passion for precision, safety, and skin confidence to every treatment. She began her career in a plastic surgeon’s clinic, where she developed a deep understanding of skin science and the critical role skincare and professional treatments play in achieving long-term results (SPF all day, every day!).
Her approach is grounded in both technical expertise and client education. Jaylynn believes great skin is something we are forever maintaining, and she’s here to help personalize plans that support each client’s unique goals.
In her free time, Jaylynn is always up for something active or adventurous—her latest obsessions are pickleball and her gravel bike. She makes it a goal to visit a new place every year, and finds joy in exploring new terrains, food, and cultures. That said, she always feels incredibly lucky to come home to the beautiful island.

As part of the Renu Laser & Skin team, Taryn is proud to support others in feeling comfortable and empowered in their own skin.
