PROFRACTIONAL LASER TREATMENT

ProFractional is a quick and comfortable laser procedure with little downtime used to improve wrinkles, scars and sun-damaged skin. ProFractional uses a laser microbeam to treat thousands of pinpoint areas of your skin. The zones of untreated skin invigorate the body's natural healing process, and the treated areas stimulate production of new collagen, plumping up the skin and smoothing out wrinkles, lines, scars and other irregularities. And because only a fraction of the skin is directly treated with the laser, healing time is quicker and downtime is shorter.

ProFractional Laser Treatment is fast, comfortable procedure done under the direction of Dr. Decker. A numbing cream is applied prior to the procedure and the treatment takes about 30 minutes depending on the size of the areas treated.

Immediately following the procedure you may experience a mild redness, resembling a light sunburn sensation. Healing of the skin can depend on the individual and the condition that was treated but generally it takes from 5-7 days for complete healing. Makeup can be applied after 3 days.
It is important to follow Dr. Decker's instructions for post care which will be explained to you prior to your treatment. Also, your skin will be more sensitive to ultra-violet light after the procedure so its important to avoid direct sunlight until you are fully healed and to wear sun protection to avoid sun damage and premature aging of your skin.

Typically ProFractional treatments are done in a series of 1-3 treatments, spaced 4-6 weeks apart for the best results. Dr. Decker will personalize a treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire. He may also combine treatment modalities for the best possible results so you can look your best.
